Regional capacity building
Additionally, a Regional Workshop on Weapons and Ammunition Management held in October 2024 in Tirana further contributed to increased capacities for stockpile management of the personnel of armed forces from the Western Balkans and Moldova.
Lastly, at a regional level, SEESAC developed an Emergency Protocol for the safe transport of small quantities of ammunition and explosives for destruction, providing standardized guidance applicable across the Western Balkans jurisdictions.
